Diplomatica is a server in which civilization is recreated, in Minecraft. Players can create cities, and nations on a custom-made Earth map.

Custom Earth map

The server uses a custom map in which one block ingame represents 450 real-life meters. Players can explore the map as well as create towns and cities with Towny. Create and build grand cities, your home town, or represent your country in Minecraft!

Gold economy

Nations run on the gold ingot, which is the main currency for the server. It is used for buying and selling items, growing your towns, and trading. You run the economy on this server, as there are many player-run shops around the map.

Server

Enter the main server through the lobby
You will spawn with a starter kit in Ethiopia.

Gameplay

Another basic guide is located at the spawn point.
To view the world map, do /map ingame.
Once you exit the world spawn you can walk/boat to your destination, or join other public towns to teleport at.
To create a town you must have 64 gold ingots, and to create a nation you must have 1024 ingots. You will have one chunk of land (16x16 blocks) to start with, and to expand make sure you have 16 gold in your town bank and do /t claim to expand.
There is no town upkeep, as long as you remain active. Inactive users will have their data wiped after 60 days of inactivity.
